Warrior, Dreamer, Weaver - Awakening the body

Dear reader,

This comic story began as a small, three-page experiment. When the Centre National de Littérature in Luxembourg asked choreographer Anne-Mareike Hess back in 2023 to provide visual material for Choreographical Talks—a publication about her work—she reached out to Luca De Vitis with a question and an idea: Could we create a visual space where the main characters from my recent works—Warrior, Dreamer, and Weaver—might meet? …And could that space possibly be comics?

This is how it all began, leading to their first three-page experiment, The Meeting.

From that first exchange almost two years ago, the story grew—just as our collaboration and connection to it did. We are very proud to share it with you.

The book has been officially launched on May 30, 2025 during the Festival Emebllie.
